Now there's one more for the record! They have the SAME THING EVERYWHERE... and this thing I have here is what they eat in the whole of Lebanon, Israel, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Syria... whatever country in the middle east. And this is probably the CHEAPEST food they get there... I don't know for sure. But who knows... if the US soldiers don't die from the war, I guess they are doomed from the ONE AND ONLY FOOD they get... SHAURMA.

I'm not too sure if they're the same... but I guess they're known as Kebab too. Basically slices of meat in a piece of flatbread rolled up like a "Popiah"?

First the meat comes in a GIANT SAUSEGE... yeah.. like that. The guy slices it up.

Put the sauce... usually garlic and ketchup...

Dunk in some salad... yep thats right! The more the merrier...

The main portion is probably the meat... some vendors are SOOOO stingy. They barely give you a few pieces... but this guy's great. He's been excited since I started snapping pics...

Top it all up with some munchies...

Yeahhhhh... YEAHHHH!!! Costs 50rub. (Rm6.50). It's BASIC in Moscow... can't eat this everyday though.. would burn a larger hole in the already thin pocket of mine... siiiggghhhh!

There you go... just one of the 1000000000000 shaurma stalls that you can get in the city. Guess good food here don't come cheap har? I miss home.. Hahaha!
Finished!

Oh the beauty of the word! Haha.. I've never known "finished" in such a way. Let's see how finished usually means to us:

1. Wahliau! Finished Lorr!! Si liau la... (Die already la!!)
2. Wah cham wei!!!! Die lorr die lorr finished... gone!
3. Foo yoh! Finished already la him.. look at him la! Die liau lorrr...
4. Aiyo Sei Lor! How can?! Finish lorr like that...

Yeah. We get the picture.. Haha. "Finish" brings the end of hope. But...

This book is the Grand Book for students in Russia. It contains confirmation of all the work that you've done during the whole course! Every exam, every experiment, every practical work. Lose it... and it's worse than becoming an eunuch. How does becoming an eunuch feel like anyway?! I don't know.. don't ask me. I'm more than happy where I am. So...

I filled all that was needed for this SEM!!! It's OVER!!! Wow... I can't believe it is. I'm delluded! Walking out of the university today, I still couldn't believe that it was all done. So I went to buy some Korean food to celebrate.

And you know what was the problem with this place?! They freaking charge their food in weight! YEAH! WEIGHT! To the VERY LAST MG... They had a digital weighing machine! I was like... HEY WHATS YOUR PROBLEM MAN?! Damn Kiamsiap. Worse than "the island country" Hahahaha. You get the picture.

But all in all... a very satisfied Pang today... Hahaha!

Have a great New Year peeps!
Winter's Here!

Finally... WINTER. Yeah... smirk all you want! Cos' I bet you're
thinking "Big-Surprise-La-You're-In-Moscow-Bla-Bla-Bla-You-Lamer..."
Haha... but seriously, we were all getting a wee bit worried when the
snow, didn't stay as snow long enough! Someone should probably check
the Earth Radiator... Hasn't been working too well lately. Aww... Don't
you know what an Earth Radiator is??! I think it's one of those things
produced by NASA la... since they produce the weirdest things anyway...
Imagine this, they spent MILLIONS producing a pen that's able to write
in ALL conditions, with or without gravity, so they can use it in their
lil' space igloo up there. The Russians, on the other hand, spent USD
0.50. About RM 1.50. They brought a PENCIL up there.

Anyway... things are going as normal finally! Snow is finally falling.. and temperatures are finally dropping...

Yeah... check it out! I did have a white christmas, and I guess it'll be snowy all the way till the next year!

Ooops... yeah for those who are blur, I didn't rotate the pic. Snowflakes DON'T fall in a horizontal direction.

Nevermind la... Just rotate your head ok? It's just the same.

The view from my place... this is what I see every morning. Someone's backside of a building. Nice way to start a day.. Haha.

Nyehehehe... sky sure is gloomy!

Well... good day all! It takes me 1hr to and fro... wonder what makes me go there. 5 hours every Sunday. Many, many Sundays a year.

I guess it's a growing trend to be lazy. Yeah... who doesn't want to have everything and not do a thing?! I'm not lazy... I don't think I am. But as long as the church continues in providing free shuttle service to and fro from the Metro station... I'll keep going. Hahaha!! Just joking there...

Anyway... WORD OF LIFE MOSCOW.

The church is COOL!!! They moved in even before they finished building it. So we sit on rickety chairs at the moment, and I think it takes the Spirit's power to keep the roof from crashing down.

Anyone know this rap "the roof! the roof! the roof is on FIRE..."? I'm not singing it here. It might come true.

The walls aren't plastered yet. They're just draped over with WALL-CLOTH. Cloth for table = tablecloth. Cloth for wall = ?

This is where I go to now. So today they had this little parade of the
nations... yeah little, since they had like 30 represented, and we have
ONLY GOD KNOWS HOW MANY in the world! I didn't know that some of them
EXISTED! Names like... I'm not sure! I can't even pronounce them, much
less spell them! Haha... like Mayauriri-El? Yakut? Kambiling? Hahaha...
I don't know. Don't ask me.

But still they were there. Each one was holding their own flag, and they read out a verse in their own language. Didn't understand a thing except the Mandarin and English... and that's the beauty of it. Diversity in the world...

So Christmas isn't about it being white. It should be yellow pink green and brown too. Someday Malaysia will be walking up that stage!

Hmmmph!
Check out the chicks who attend!

Every Monday and Wednesday, I put on my best underwear (you have to be
well protected), my bulletproof-scratchproof-fireproof 1 tonne heavy
SAMBO coat and go to fight club. There 20-odd guys lose themselves and
go all out to wrestle the air out of each other. There are no enimity
in the eyes, there is only the flaming passion to tie up your given
opponent into a knot. This is the beauty of great Russian wrestling...
if only the presidents and prime ministers (and also EX-prime
ministers) of the world would settle their differences this way.

Fight club of Treatment Faculty A... Awwww...look at the cute monsters...!

The results?
1. Chipped teeth.
2. Bruised parts
3. Sore neck
4. BIG MUSCLES ( actually not much la, but have to give myself some glory.. Hahahaha =P)

The usual bruises... Can't load the one about the teeth. I just drank milo before taking the pic, so its not very appetizing to have tanned teeth.

So... I'll just let a true photoblog do the talking.

There was a competition going on, and I had to join... I just had too, when you're in fight club, everybody fights.

Yeah.. things get wild...

Consume my ARMPITS!!! And guess what? My life has never been soooooo blessed. You see, I weigh 63kgs, and the category I was supposed to be in was 62kgs, by I exceeded by ONE freaking kilo, and so was dumped into the 68kgs category. Nevermind.

ON THE DAY, the coach accidently put me into the 74kgs category... and so I took on a guy 2 categories up. A picture paints a thousand words... and a comic 5890342 words, so we'll see how it turned out...

The blue guy is me, the red is the other... and number 4 shows the END. THE END. 1st round kickout.

I got multiple concussions, slipped disc, broken clavicle... just joking Hahaha.. but I became the instant hero of the day. They started calling me HE-WHO-TOOK-ON-2-CATEGORIES-HIGHER, so everyone in class is determined make me into a fighting machine by the next competition... great. HAhHAHA!! Maybe the day might come..... sigh.... when the muscles do actually arrive.
ZzzZzz...

I can't sleep.
Don't know why.
It's not coming to me at the right time, at the right place.

I tried counting sheeps, (till 1036359?)
I tried saying prayers,
Still those dreams aren't coming, to take me away.

Hmm... where's a LOOOOONG chemistry lecture when you need one?! Hahaha...

Eye Popper

Orbita - That's the name we have to put up with over here. All's well in Latin terms... Hahaha.

Anywayy...

I've decided that I've done enough of memorising. Mann.. I spent the
whole weekend memorising stuff about the stupid ball that sits on your
neck. Weekend you know!!! When people are supposed to be mamaking,
(err... here don't have la...) or clubbing or wasting time (wasting
time is a hobby you know), I was sitting at my desk chanting slowly to
myself "Polost' nosa saabshaetsa "foramen sphenopalatinum", "canalis nasolacrimalis"...(
The nasal cavity is connected to so and so...)" Damn unfair! Hahahaha.
People should start studying medic when they're about to end their life
you know... you know the time larr.. when they decide that they have no
more time to waste, when they're having some crises about being in the
middle of their life.

So... I'll let you have a piece of what I'll be doing later.

Got this from the Wikipedia commons... I think I can use this pic for free, may I? This is the Left Orbit we're talking about. They're exactly the same, left and right, unless you're cock eyed then maybe it'll be different.

So... contrary to popular belief, the orbit is not formed out of 1 large hole. Haha. It consists of about 7 bones. People seperate the orbit into 4 walls:
Superior Wall - Paries Superior
1. Orbital Portion of the Frontal Bone
2. Lesser wings of the Sphenoid

Medial Wall - Paries Medialis
1. Orbital Plate of the Ethmoid Bone
2. Lacrimal. Orbital Process of the Palatine Bone
3. Frontal Process of the Maxilla
4. Body of the Sphenoid

Lateral Wall - Paries Lateralis
1. Frontal Process of the Zygomatic Bone
2. Greater wings of the Sphenoid
3. Orbital surface of the Zygomatic Bone

Inferior Wall - Paries Inferioris
1. Orbital surface of the Maxilla
2. Orbital Process of the Palatine Bone
3. Orbital surface of the Zygomatic Bone

Well, here's an interesting fact. Know why when we cry, we get all sniffy and our nose becomes a running water tap? Dunno leh!!! Hahaha.... its simple. It's all thanks to this Nasolacrimal canal. It leads down from the base of the eye orbit, all the way to the inferior nasal pass Meatus Nasalis Inferior. So when a super outflow of tears gush through this canal and start flooding your nose, at least it's about 10% comforting to know why, makes whatever the situation half as bad... Hahaha.
There you go... the nasolacrimal duct.

Skull Mania

Hey Guys!!! Arrh... my head hurts. Why??

#1 I've been thrown around again by my SAMBO (Russian Wrestling) partner today... this time he's a 80kg guy... I don't know why I keep choosing the heavier guys around you know, but it's just that I'm the lightest one there . Hehehe... 63 kgs, and dropping.. so girls, don't get too jealous, my weight maintainence is a trade secret. Ahhh!! But what the heck la... I'm so light that I seemed like a hamster to him, AND HE SAID SO HIMSELF! It's such a great sport that you chose, wei soon... so great.." *rats*

#2... THIS is causing the already hurting head to burst.

Yep.. The Skull... the great ol' human skull. Inside this thing lies the brain, in case some of you don't know, we have brains. Though there is no certain proof that everyone has them... Hahahaha... jkjk. Bad joke bad joke.

It also houses the other major sensory stuff, like the eyes, and the nose, and the tongue for taste. So I'm just stating the bare obvious here, sometimes you can't be too sure that everyone knows what you're talking about you know. Do you? Hahaa.. only you can answer that.

Well the brain isn't really very large. It's so small that it can be quite insulting actually. Hahaha. Anyway, nobody has ever seen their own brain, at least I don't think so. But the ones that I see are pretty shrunken.

Right... so there are 6 bones that hold the brains together. Wow... 6!! What for??! Don't ask. God made 6. Thank God that it wasn't 65. 5 of them I've labled here, and the remaining one is Os ethmoidale, or the ethmoid bone. This is one special one. The name means "sift", so its supposed to act as the "AMWAY" *drumroll* filter for you airway.

Yeah a little for the interest. See Arcus Zygomaticus there? Yeah.. it's right in front of the ear. You can feel it. Anyway this lousy skull you see on the left costs USD50, and my teacher turns into the incredible hulk everytime he hears bones knocking on the table.

And there's the Mastoid process. If you're normal enough, you can feel it just behind your ear lobe. Hahaa... thats if you can feel yours.

And look at the Large Foramen (Foramen Magnum)... that's like half of it there. What goes through? Well... Some people told the teacher that the easophagus passes through it on their exam day. Undoubtedly, it became the worst day of their lives, as the teacher became the incredible hulk immediately after hearing their grand answer. Hahaha. Well.. the spinal chord passes through. Hahaa... and the spinal chord does not lead to the stomach.

Yeah.. So I'm like releiving my stress. I have too. My skull was cracked in SAMBO (i think), and my brains are swelling because of anatomy. It doesn't help to have all these happen at once. HAhaa.. ever seen, or felt, an overripe tomato? Well.. pretty much explains it.
